Whenever people browse the internet, at every site that they visit traces are being left behind, personal details like IP and other information is logged at every site that is visited. In the wrong hands those information can be used in wrong purposes but while people are browsing websites using a web proxy the traces that are left behind are the details of the proxy and the actual visitor of the site remain anonymous.
